Silly me forgot to add the De Vita In Excessum email when I reformatted my harddrive a month and a half ago, so I JUST now received all my mail. Several of you have submitted fonts, questions, feedback, etc. I’ll be working on replies and uploading the fonts this week. Sorry I haven’t replied sooner.

I’ve also been getting the urg to mess with the layout and make some wallpapers/screensavers, so look for more of those soon too.

Ian Watson of wolf-spoor.org donated 4 fonts to the fonts directory.

• World of Darkness 2nd Edition (Verve)
• Two Kitsune? fonts (KendoITC and KendoInitialsITC)
• Mage: Dreamspeakers (Mythology)

Eventually I’ll be redoing the font graphics (Didn’t feel like it at the time of the re-design), so that they match the site, and are smaller in size.

I’ve finally gotten the forms for all of the submissions to work. So if you want to send feedback to a particular artist/writer, at the end of each article there is a form for doing so.

I can’t guarantee the validity of all of the e-mail addresses, since some of the articles were written quite a while ago.

I’ve noticed a lot of people coming here in search of wallpapers, fonts, and screensavers.

If there is a genuine interest, I wouldn’t mind trying to create some more wallpapers and/or screensavers for the WW community. Heck if you even know of some images/artwork that would be perfect to use for a specific wallpaper, send it my way and I’ll see what I can do with it. Granted I’m not the best graphic person out there, far from it, but I’ll at least try.

Leave a comment with a request for what you’re looking for. I’ll start coming up with some things.

I will never EVER go through all those submission by hand again. Every single page is now converted to php for easier, less suicidal handling. I’ve also added a few new pieces of artwork that were submitted a while ago, but since I no longer update this regularly due to lack of submissions, they are just now being put up. I also haven’t put up the polls or vox sections yet, but they’ll be coming shortly. Also the feedback forms for the individual entries do not work yet, but I’ll be finishing that up to. If you notice any broken links, don’t hesitate to let me know.

New look, yes. Simple, yet a lot cleaner, browser friendly, readable, and easy to print, unlike the conglomoration that was DViE before.

I may take an inclination to do some more screensavers or something, and if I get submissions, I’ll ad them. I’d also like to complete the fonts archive as much as possible. As you can see there is a list of fonts I don’t have, but am looking for. So if you have them, please mail them to: dvie@dreamsigns.net. Also if you know of a font that isn’t listed, let me know so I can look for it.

I will hopefully also be redoing the World of Darkness Chronicles section, which was actually one of my most used features. Allowing people to find LARPS in their area, and Chronicles they could play. Hopefully it will be much more advanced this time.

I have been busy with a lot of other projects. The two main being working on developing a music career since being contacted by a record company last month, and also my MUD. So I won’t be available anytime soon for regular updates.
